Leah Simpson - Bloom Beauty

Leah Simpson | Salon Owner and Senior Aesthetician

After 16 years involvement in the beauty industry, this salon is an amalgamation of everything I have learned. Juggling three boys and family life is always a challenge, but winning the 2013 New Zealand Salon of the Year and Business Development Award was a great reward for all our hard work. From my years as a skincare consultant with Estee Lauder to training to be a beauty therapist, 11 years as a qualified aesthetician  and my work as a professional make-up artist, I just love being able to help clients look and feel great every time they visit us.

Bloom Beauty

Rosemary Patchett  | Senior Aesthetician

After graduating top of my class from Elite School of Beauty Therapy in 2008, I worked part time as a therapist at a well-known salon while completing a Spa Therapy post-graduate course at Elite.  Elite then offered me a job teaching facial therapies and waxing. In between I have had two sons, but have maintained my job throughout to keep my skill levels high and have now chosen to come back to a ‘hands on’ beauty therapy role here at Bloom. I have always loved pampering clients with my facials and I absolutely love reshaping and defining eyebrows.

Bloom Beauty - Toni

Toni Smith  | Senior Aesthetician

My first appointment after graduating in 2004 was at a small local salon where I worked for a little over a year learning my basic beauty skills. From there I was invited to join a much larger Medi Spa. Over the next seven years I undertook a number of post-graduate advanced courses before going on maternity leave. My two darling girls are now 3 and 1. As a therapist my passion is corrective skin treatments. As an adolesent, I suffered from acne, eczema and hormonal issues myself and I understand how it can affect a person’s self-esteem. I also LOVE brow sculpting. At the moment my key interest area is nutrition, exercise and health. I do a lot of weight training at the gym and enjoy tramping.

Michelle Heatherley
| Senior Aesthetician

I graduated from the Beauty Therapy College of NZ in 2005 with diploma's in aesthetics, body therapy in electrology. My first job after graduating was in a small salon in East Auckland where I gained experience in the industry and was introduced to the world of advanced skin treatments and cosmeuceutical skincare. I became very passionate about helping people with their skin and took my knowledge to my next job- managing a salon in St Heliers. During my time there I started learning about the importance of nutrition when it comes to skin health and that remains my passion to this day- providing your body with optimal nutrition is not only a game changer for your skin but can change your life!

I have a little girl now and love working at Bloom around looking after her.

Chloe Mason
| Aesthetician

After a year of full time study I graduated from Elite school of beauty therapy in December 2016. This is my first job in the beauty industry, I really enjoy the confidence I can give to clients through the treatments I preform. My current passions are make-up, massage and waxing as I find these the most rewarding. As well as beauty I have a passion for travel and getting involved in adrenaline pumping activities. I love spending my spare time catching up with those closest to me and being active.
