TERMS & CONDITIONS

Bloom Skin Aesthetics reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. These Terms do not affect consumer statutory rights.  

ONLINE STORE TERMS

1. Our store is hosted on Squarespace. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you utilising Paypal payment software. 

2. Online orders may be paid for by secure credit card transaction or internet banking via the Squarespace e-commerce platform and utilising Paypal payment software.

3. Bloom Skin Aesthetics reserves the right to amend pricing at any time, based on price increases/decreases set by our suppliers and fluctuations in currency on imported items.

STRIPE

4. Your data is stored through Paypal’s data storage, databases and general application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase i.e. pay by credit card, your credit card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is then stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction, after which time, your purchase transaction information is deleted. 

5. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa & MasterCard. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECURITY

6. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT

7. All online bookings require a thirty-percent (30%) deposit to secure the appointment, excluding December appointments where a fifty-percent (50%) deposit is required, or where a specific deposit amount is specified for a treatment on our website. The deposit will be taken at the time of booking your appointment. Payments can be made using either a credit or debit card via our secure payment platform PayPal. The deposit will be applied to your booking with the balance payable once you have received your treatment.

CANCELLATION, NO-SHOWS & ARRIVING LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

As cancellations and no-shows have significant impact on us, we need to enforce our cancellation policy and trust you understand our need to do so.

8. We all get busy, and we understand that special circumstances are unavoidable and a cancellation of your appointment may be necessary. If you find yourself unable to keep an appointment, we require a minimum of twenty-four hours’ (24) notice for cancellation of appointments held between January and November, and forty-eight (48) hours' notice for cancellation of appointments held during December. This courtesy enables us to schedule another client in this time. Cancellations must be provided to our reception by either phone or email. If the specified notice is not given you will forfeit your deposit and be charged a total minimum of 50% of the treatment fee. If you simply do not show up or if you cancel your appointment less than three (3) hours before your scheduled appointment time, you will incur a fee equivalent to 100% of the booked appointment.

8.1 Please note that if you repeatedly cancel appointments (3 or more cancellations recorded) with less than the required notice (See clause 8 above), you will be required to pay a fee equivalent to 100% of the booked appointment when you go to reschedule or book your next appointment.

8.2 If you fail to turn up to your appointment with no contact you will incur a fee equivalent to 100% of the booked appointment.

9. Please ensure you are on time for your appointment as a courtesy to the client that follows. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to complete your treatment for you. If your treatment is unable to be completed due to you arriving late, the above cancellation policy will apply and you will be charged.

10. Appointments that are secured by the deposit outlined in clause 7 above and are cancelled in accordance with our minimum cancellation windows (See clause 8 above) before the scheduled appointment time are valid for a full deposit refund.

11. If you are paying by gift voucher and give a last minute cancellation (see clause 8 above), half the value of your gift voucher will be forfeited. If you are paying by gift voucher and fail to show up to your appointment or if you cancel less than three (3) hours before your scheduled appointment, 100% of the value of your gift voucher will be forfeited.

12. If you need to cancel or change an appointment last minute, you can avoid the charge by having someone come in your place at your allocated time.

Certain circumstances will not incur a charge, but when a booking has been made Bloom Skin Aesthetics reserve the right to recoup costs if changes are made.

GENERAL

13. All prices are in $NZD and include GST of 15%. Freight is additional and includes GST of 15%. 

SHIPPING

14. We will process your order as soon as possible within standard business hours.
Couriered Delivery Option: Couriered delivery orders are processed and dispatched from our premises in Karaka, Auckland for delivery within 2-5 business days. We use NZ Couriers to deliver to locations within New Zealand only. Our freight rates (North Island - $10.00) include the packaging and preparation of your item. We will email you a confirmation once your order has been dispatched, including your NZ Couriers tracking number. Please supply us with a physical address, such as a workplace, where there will be someone present to sign for your item between the delivery hours of 9am - 5pm weekdays.
Digital Delivery Option: Digital delivery orders are processed and dispatched via email during our business trading hours. If digital delivery is selected on an order that is placed outside of our business trading hours then the digital delivery will take place during our next scheduled business trading day.

15. Bloom Skin Aesthetics take no responsibility for delayed or non-delivery of products by third party service providers

PRODUCTS

16. Certain products may be available exclusively online through the website. These products may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange according to our Return Policy. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the images of our products and we reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information as required.

MODIFICATIONS TO PRODUCTS AND PRICES

17. All descriptions of products, product pricing, treatments and treatment pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of Bloom Skin Aesthetics.

18. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

19. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. If you choose to pay by internet banking, you agree to make prompt payment immediately after your order is completed.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

20. We accept refunds and exchanges on regular items.

21. Sale items and gift vouchers cannot be refunded.

22. Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.

23. Goods are not sold on a trial basis.

24. We reserve the right to deduct an administration fee.

25. If your order cannot be fulfilled for whatever reason, you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

26. Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your product purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

27. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

28. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
 
FAULTY PRODUCT

29. If a product is found to be defective, we will send a replacement within 14 days or as soon as that product becomes available. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@bloomskinaesthetics.co.nz and send your item to: Bloom Skin Aesthetics, Shop 13, 75 Hingaia Road, Karaka RD1, Auckland.

TREATMENT COURSES & PAMPER PACKAGES

30. Treatment courses and/or pamper packages purchased and applied to your Bloom in-clinic account must be completed by the expiry date specified upon purchase.

31. Treatment courses and/or pamper packages purchased and applied to your Bloom in-clinic account cannot be refunded, nor can they be interchanged for product or alternative treatments.

RETURN SHIPPING

32. To return your product, you should mail your product to: Bloom Skin Aesthetics, Shop 13, 75 Hingaia Road, Karaka, Auckland. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs to return your item. You should consider using a trackable shipping service as we do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. 

PRIVACY POLICY

33. We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.

34. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

35. When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you have completed a transaction, we invite you to register which allows us to retain your personal details i.e. your name, email, address and phone number, so that you won't have the tedious job of typing them in each time you buy online.

36. When you browse our store, we automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

37. When you provide us with personal information to make a booking or enquiry, complete a transaction, register, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent at anytime, by contacting leah@bloomskinaesthetics.co.nz or mailing Bloom Skin Aesthetics, Shop 12, 75 Hingaia Road, Karaka, Auckland.

DISCLOSURE

38. We may disclose your personal information only if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

BLOOM LOYALTY REWARDS

39. My Skin Rewards Loyalty Programme was started on the 1st of August 2023.

40. For every $500 you spend in clinic on any single full priced treatment or full priced product purchase, a $50 My Skin Rewards voucher is added to your personal Bloom Skin Aesthetics account. My Skin Rewards points can not be earned on Gift Voucher purchases or on any treatment packages, treatment bundles or revision series, seasonal offers, skincare packs, discounted services or skin membership plans as they are already discounted.

41. Your My Skin Rewards voucher/s can be redeemed against any single Advanced Skin Treatment on our menu. This includes: Clinical Facial Treatments, Clinical Peels, BBL Hero, DMK Enzyme Therapy, Moxi Laser, IPL Treatments, LED Light Therapy Treatments, Skin Needling. When you are ready to redeem your voucher/s, simply call us on 0800 256 666 to book your treatment or advise our reception when your in clinic.

42. A My Skin Rewards voucher can be saved on your Bloom account for a period of 12 months, or used as partial payment towards your next advanced skin treatment.

43. My Skin Rewards vouchers cannot be redeemed against the following menu items: Appearance Medicine, Advanced Skin Treatment Bundles, Add-on Treatments, Beauty Essentials, Relaxation Treatments, Skin Revision Series Packages, Skin Health Memberships, Seasonal Offers, Treatment Packages, Product purchases (in clinic or online), Gift Vouchers, Any other discounted service.

43. If you want to check your rewards balance simply call us on 0800 BLOOM6 (256 666) and speak with reception or check your balance when you log in to book your next appointment through our online booking system.

44. My Skin Reward vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue, after which time they will expire and be automatically removed from your Bloom account. Expired vouchers will NOT be extended or renewed after they have expired.

45. My Skin Reward vouchers are not transferable, or redeemable for cash or gift vouchers.
